InterCriteria Analysis: Application for ECG Data Analysis

The InterCriteria Analysis (ICrA) is based on the mathematical formalisms of index matrices and intuitionistic fuzzy sets. It has been elaborated to discern possible similarities in behavior criteria pairs when multiple objects are considered, allowing also accounting information uncertainty. focus this study validate applicability ICrA over a large set ECG extracted for arrhythmia analysis evaluate its ability support pre-selection that could be further involved decision making procedures. applied 88 (resulting 3828 pairs) calculated 8528 ECGs from PhysioNet/CinC Challenge 2017 database. Three show strong positive consonance, another 26—positive while 15 negative consonance. reveals lack dependencies 98 pairs. correspondence between our observations (high degrees agreement/disagreement dependencies) expectations knowledge principles computation validates application reliable evaluation relation different criteria. This potential highlight useful relations makes it suitable pre-processing stage pre-selection. Thus, optimization feature space achieved together with minimization computations’ complexity.
